Obesity is swiftly becoming an epidemic in our society. Everyday thousands of people begin new diet and exercise programs only to quit before they see results.

Exercise is an important part of the weight loss process but some people avoid it like the plague. So, is there a way to lose weight without exercise?

While exercise is always best for weight loss and healthier living, there are some ways to lose weight without exercise, which include the following.

Kick The Soda Habit

One can of cola contains approximately 140 calories which offer no health benefit. If you have a 2 soda a day habit, that is the equivalent of 102,200 calories or approximately 30 lbs in a year.

Kicking the soda habit can have a huge impact on your weight loss and health.

Eat Healthier Snacks

When you are feeling hungry and need to grab a snack, reach for fruit, vegetables or nuts instead of chips or cakes.

Fruits are naturally sweet and can be an effective way to curb your appetite and sweet cravings.

Control Your Portion Sizes

Cutting back on the amount of food you are eating and monitoring the number of calories you are consuming is essential for weight loss.

To make this work, eat only the recommended portion sizes for each meal. If this is to drastic initially, just cut the normal amount you would eat in half.

If you implement this one thing on a regular basis you will begin to lose weight.

8 Glasses Of Water Daily

Water plays a vital role in our bodies. It is responsible for keeping our internal organs functioning properly.

Not only does water cleanse our system, it can also help you cut back on calories because if drinking all throughout the day, it will help you stay full and help reduce the desire to snack. Also, substituting water for sweet drinks high in calories and sugar can be instrumental in helping you lose the unwanted pounds.

Your target should be 8 or more glasses per day.

Use The Stairs

One way to get exercise without actually exercising is to do simple things like taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Utilizing the stairs may not seem to be much help with losing but in actuality it helps your body burn more calories.

Taking the stairs on a regular basis can help improve your health and help you lose some weight.

Losing weight doesnt have to be hard but it does require dedication and commitment. Making simple lifestyle changes like the ones mentioned above can help you lose weight without exercise.

Even though you dont have to exercise to lose weight it is highly recommended that you do.
